Charis Ministries is developing work in Pakistan as a registered organisation (Registration Number RP/9933/L/S/16) in order to train and equip local leaders to best serve their community. Our ethos is “Leading for Transformation“ as we want to see life change in individuals and their communities we are working with. The focus is not primarily on an academic qualification rather equipping people to serve effectively in their ministries.
Here is an introduction to some of our local workers.
Pastor Sahil: firstname.lastname@example.org
I belong to a middle class but faithful family where no-one in my family history who was a pastor or evangelist before me. I received Jesus Christ in my heart as Lord and Saviour when I was 12 years old.
After finishing my university I began my full ministry in Feb 11th of 2004 and currently pastor Glorious Gospel Church, Lahore. By God’s grace I have earned my Masters in Theology degree from Faith Theological Seminary and Research Center Lahore. I am married to my wife Lea Perez who is from the Philipines who is running the Sunday school and is also a part of Women ministry in Lahore. We are committed to training, equipping and developing leaders through educational seminars and leadership conferences, womens ministry, orphans ministry (giving them free education, food & clothes), widows ministry (supporting them through food and medicines).
Rev. Agnes Sardar:
I was born into a fundamental Roman Catholic family and I joined the convent in 1989. I became nun sister in 1992 and professed final vows in 1999. The main breakthrough came in my life in March 2013 and I left being a nun in September 2014 and said goodbye to convent life.
After that I attended the Glorious Gospel Church in Lahore with Pastor Sahil. During my time with this Pentecostal church I grew in Christ. I have earned my Master in Theology degree and working with Charis Ministries in Pakistan helping to bring awareness among the leaders to break the barrier of denominations. I am also working as a women director in local church.
